The Copiague FD Marine Unit is hosting its 1st Annual Fishing Expo, bringing together local vendors, boating and fishing enthusiasts, and the community for a day of information, gear, and safety awareness.

About The Marine Unit

The Marine Unit supports water-based emergency response and safety in our community. Our focus is on Community • Safety • Readiness — providing education, preparedness, and assistance on the waterways around Copiague. We also operate a High Water Rescue Truck for coastal flooding and high‑tide events on the South Shore. When streets become impassable, this vehicle helps us reach residents who can’t safely leave their homes and get them to safety if needed.
